Confidence can be developed by believing in yourself and having faith in your abilities.
Do not be discouraged. We all have to start somewhere. Experts were not always experts.
If you know where you are going the world will move over and make room for you.
You must have self-respect as this permeates and affects every part of your life.
You must have confidence in yourself or you will find the race of life very difficult. If you have nurtured self-confidence you will have won before you have started.
Whatever you confidently expect becomes your self-fulfilling prophecy. So train yourself to expect only the most favourable outcomes.
If you have the belief that you can accomplish a task then you will acquire the capacity to do it even though you did not have it at the start.
Genuine confidence is what gets you out of bed in the morning with a spring in your step.
If you have a clear plan in your mind about where you want to go in life this will give you a brilliant feeling of personal power and confidence. So write out your goals and enjoy achieving them.
You must feel good about yourself and nurture this on a daily basis. Tell yourself regularly that you are a good and worthwhile person.
Know and be aware of your personal value. Confidence breeds success. Act like the person you want to become. Do this and people will start seeing you as that person and treat you accordingly.Another way to gain confidence is to do one thing that scares you. By confronting your fears, you will find that you gain
strength and belief in yourself. Not doing the things we know we should do causes us to feel guilty and guilt leads to a depletion of self-confidence. As our self-confidence diminishes, so does the level of our activity. This, in turn, leads to
poorer results and we move from positive to negative thoughts decreasing our self-confidence even more.
So take action when you need to in order to keep yourself out of this downward spiral.
